Stem Cell Talks Event MaRS - March 12, 2010

StemCellTalks is a Let's Talk Science initiative which will launch as a symposium on March 12th, 2010 at the MaRS Collaboration Centre in Toronto, Canada.  The target audience for StemCellTalks are senior level biology Toronto high school students.  Students who attend the symposium will listen to keynote presentations by world-renowned Stem Cell Scientists professors including; Janet Rossant and Derek van der Kooy.  Following keynote talks, the students will participate in problem-solving based breakout sessions lead by graduate students and post doctoral fellows. 

This initiative seeks to engage Canadian high school students to the science and ethics related to stem cells.  The TPRM partnered in this inaugural event and have provided some photos.
